This yarn worked up a dream for several lovey toys I’ve made including 2x triceratops, 1 x unicorn, 1 x elephant and now a rabbit I’m working on. It’s so easy to work with for anyone that is comfortable with crochet/knitting, just leave a generous tail as with all chenilles the fibres will come off the ends if you pull too close. However, other than that, the shedding is minimal unlike some other chenilles I’ve used where I was covered in fluff by the end. I used a 5mm-6mm for amigurumi, I think 6-7mm hooks/needles would be accurate for a blanket. It is a thinner chunky and beautifully soft.
A couple of the balls had several factory knots but I bought quite a few and at this price, it’s annoying but expected. My only complaint is the colour range is really, really small. I bought several colours and the milky white and beige are almost identical, and the greys are both close too. It’s such a great yarn so I'm disappointed I'm going to have to find another brand for my next project just because of the bad colour range. A brown, orange and lighter green would be top of my list!
